horse dead, now can I get her id number?

I have all the information of my horse's mother from helpful people here, though I could never get her registration number, she has since died and I was wondering if the Jockey Club can now give out her number. I would like to have it to register a horse, though he is registered by his father in an 1/2 Friesian registry. It would look more complete to get this info on the papers.
