The only '84 Really Mystical is a colt

and the only registered Thoroughbred out of his dam.

There are several horses named Radio Star, mainly mares, the latest mare being the 1963 model. Is that the one?

Regarding Crimson Cowboy, he must have been born or named after 2003 because he doesn't appear on my APR. There is a '69 model named Crimson Cowboy...

:-D Thanks!

Really Mystical, barn name Ticky, is a total sweetheart. I'm crossing my fingers because Saturday morning, I might take a lesson with my trainer, and she said I might be able to start x-rails if my riding improved since she last saw me in the saddle. I have pics of him, if anyone's curious what he looks like :)

Radio Star... the one I'm trying to find info about is a deceased stallion. One of the other posters on PQ said that he squeezed out two crops. One of the reasons I'm looking for his info is because my 2003 TB filly is one of his offspring. I wonder if McMahon TB's of Saratoga would release any information about him or her dam, Tyler's Tops, or if anyone else knew anything about either of them. I also have pics of the filly :) She's so much fun to train!

And with Crimson Cowboy, he's a 2yo right now, so that could explain him not appearing on your APR, as it would make him a 2003 foal.

Thanks so much!!! :)

Well then the only Radio Star fitting that description is the '88 model by D. B. Carm:

There was also a '97 Radio Star, a half-brother to Dynaformer by Storm Cat. Looks like he's your dude - he stood at McMahon. He's in the DB already.

The only recent Crimson Cowboy I can find is a 2004 model by Swiss Yodeler. I added him. :)

Radio Star (1997) is the one I'm trying to find info on. I know his pedigree, but McMahon doesn't have anything anymore on their website... I'm just curious to see what height he was, etc. and how closely my filly resembles her sire (temperment, build, etc.) but now that he's deceased, it's slightly difficult. I'd like to see her dam too, but lord knows me not being able to drive makes it difficult to try to get to Saratoga Springs (a mere 30-40minutes from my horse) to see her.

And yes - it's the 2yo Crimson Cowboy I'm trying to find out info about. Apparently they're selling him for $5k, that is, my friend's family. I haven't seen him in person, but I'm supposed to, and I wanted to do some research on him before getting up there... I know a few people interested in breeding TB's and for the price (I don't know if he was successful at racing, or if he even made it to the track) he seemed like he'd be a good stud for some of their mares.

Thanks again for replying so quickly, each of you :)

Have you tried e-mailing McMahon? Chances are they had promotional materials printed for him, they may yet have some kicking around.
