isn't it a wierd old game

we lost a foal yesterday. it was raining heavilly. we went into town. came back and it looks like she dropped it on a dam bank (10 days prem) and it slipped into the water and drowned.

This breeding game is such a peaks and valleys thing. you just have to pick up and go on. We thought it was gonna be the drought here in Oz that caused the most problems. Not a day of rain.

That is just awful. Hopefully that will be the low of your season and things will only get better from here...

So sorry for your loss! It is a game of ups and downs and sometimes it seems like there are more downs than ups. Hopefully good times are just around the corner. My thoughts are with you!
