I am very happy to report that my mare has passed the rest of the Placenta. After 2 days of aggressive treatment she finally did it. The vet will take a look at her today just to check that she's passed it all. The Farm manager said she was bucking and kicking when they turned her out this morning and is eating and feeling well. This was very expensive $$$ but was worth it. I owe it to my girl. Thanks for all the encouraging words from everyone and may you all have happy, healthy and successful foaling for all expecting foals for the spring.
Regards
Des

Sorry about your loss
a mare at he farm I'm at just aborted too.. Twins. One huge and the other TINY. It was really sad... We caught it after she was done (she was turned out not due for months) The mare is doing well now and gets lots of hugs... It was terrible to see her (the mare) go through this.
I lost a filly in 2005 so i understand what you are going thru!
