grinning bobcat had her foal last night...its a colt....good size and correct im told....well im off to visit the both of them {foal & mom}..bobcats like clock work she was due on the 17th {today}...and had the foal late last night. :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D ......i just love this. on the other hand ...another mouth to feed...nahhh i love it.

The babies don't really feel like another mouth to feed until they require vet care, or are added to the weaned (full-price) list of boarders, since I board mine out.

I am so jealous of having a mare "like clockwork" -- still waiting on the mare that was due 1/26 and have another thats due next week who may just beat her

congrats...I am hoping for a filly but I know it's a colt...I haven't been wrong re: sex on the 3 foals I had...friends think I'm psychic :lol:

Cheryl, I was thinking the same thing. I hope mine go against the trend too. Would love all fillies (so now I'll probably get all colts! LOL)

And late births are the trend this year, too. I've got two due in the next week. Hope they arrive close to due date.
