Very nice. She's definitely a keeper. Love that dark coloring!

a name

Postby tammysinnett » Tue Mar 13, 2007 8:20 am

I really like her....I looked up Siberia just to see if I could find a name for her....In the Stolby Preserves there are stone giants that raise out of the land where the wind and weather have carved them, they tend to form images......maybe to in depth but she is a beautiful dark horse.....so are these stones dark......maybe you can find an unusual name for her there????

Congrats, Aurora! She's a stunner. A gray no doubt. Her father would be proud.

If one of you cyber geeks/wizards could highlight a link that I could click on to view this beauty I would be most grateful, Wilf.

Aurora, your filly has the same dish face seen in most of her sire's foals. I suspect you may be onto a nice one here. She's bred very similarly to SCOTTSBLUFF, the colt which set a new world record for 5 1/2 furlongs on the turf last summer at Hollywood Park--1:00 1/5. Both of them are out of Bold Ruler line mares from strong California families. In addition, the very good Siberian Summer filly CYBER SLEW (graded sp of about $400,000) is out of another Bold Ruler line mare; beyond that, your mare and Cyber Slew's dam are half sisters! If you take your time with her, she could develop into a nice mare for you. Hope so!
