Oh The Tears Of Joy Time!!

Postby madelyn » Sat Apr 21, 2007 6:20 am

My big old War Horse mare, Dun Legal (116-24-22-15, $194,586), foaled a live, perfect filly at 7:30 this morning. This breaks the curse for this 19 year old mare, whose last live foal was born in 1999 (her filly last year died moments after birth, following years of barren and aborting/resorbing).

This is a Rocking Trick baby... if we don't get a runner out of this combination there's something really wrong!

Madelyn - I am so happy for you! I think the mare is prouder of herself than you are! The filly is lovely. I bet Rocky is prancing around in his paddock like he is the total stuff isn't he? Congrats - she is a beauty! Good job!
