Thought I'd posted this - our first foal

Postby clh » Tue Feb 19, 2008 8:23 pm

I thought I had posted this info but guess I didn't or if I did, couldn't find it ;)

McCaskill had a Suave colt on 1/24. Chestnut with a big white blaze, front white sock and back sock. We foaled in OH this year so I get to see the babies immediately which is so much fun. This little guy is the sweetest thing I've ever seen. He doesn't hide behind momma at any time and will let you touch him anywhere! I'm in love ;) and have two more to go.

Got my matings done too. My mares will be visiting Invasor, Purim and Teuflesburg.

Congrats :) It's nice to have a foal born so early in the year.

Congrats, Cheryl! He sounds flashy. :D

We had one born on Feb 16th, a bay filly with a star and three white socks out of our Slewvescent mare by Devon Lane. She was born at our ranch (our first home born TB). No pics yet, but I'm working on it.

Congratulations CLH! Out of curiosity, what area of Ohio are you in?? I'm in northwest ohio, near Lima, and I'm always wondering about how Ohio TB people are faring... Do you race in OH or ship out?? Sorry to change the subject of your thread....
