This is Safe the afternoon before she foaled...she's definately in foal!!

The picture of her in foal is 24 hours before she foaled...We had gone to KY to hopefully see her foal and I got a call as I was boarding the plane the next day that she had foaled...I had already left Lexington and was boarding my connecting flight to Philly or else I would have gone right back.

WOW she was huge...my small mares get that wide but they are 14'3-15h and have HUGE babies...I was looking for the 2nd baby in the pics too :D Glad they are doing well and the foal is absolutely adorable

What a solid filly! No wonder Mama was so huge the day before. My mare Hop to It is due in late March for her Bowman's Band foal. She's had five colts so far, so I'm kinda hopin' for a filly this time around. Hop is also a mare with lots of bling. :o

Thanks everyone...can't wait to see them..probably end of March...have had one more baby since but no pics yet.... one overdue and one due soon...best of luck to everyone in foaling season...hope to hear of lot's of healthy mommies and babies.....and Cheryl I pm'd you about Hokie.
