any day now.... Cunningly is quite large for a maiden and waxing. She's due to be bred back to Star Dabbler.

It's a filly! Nice sized grey filly with a big heart star and two little hind socks. Up and nursing and alert. I took pictures, but they are HORRIBLE. Low light and a blackberry... never a good combo.

Mom and baby are doing fine. Mom is booked back to Star Dabbler, but we're going to miss foal heat as she tore a bit....

Congrats on the gray filly! She sounds very cute, love the "heart shaped star." There was a racehorse that had a heart shaped star running here, I think her name was Queen of Hearts or something along that line.

Cant wait for pics!!

Congratulations. I would have been surprised if Richland let you BRING a mare on the foal heat. A lot of farms have just stopped that practice period.

As someone who sold a mare in foal to AH - I'm now sorry I did after seeing this beauty! Perhaps it comes from the momma. This baby could be my "Allou's" baby as she has a heart exactly like that one! What a cutie!! Congrats. And Star Dabbler is lovely - good choice. I went back to RH this year as well - only I've got a mare going to Purim. And boy is he a stud!! He's gorgeous - lovely neck and head on that bad boy and he's already covered my mare (waiting on 16 day preg check) and he sure knows what his job is ;) Also, big kuddos to RH - those folks are on the ball when it comes to covering mares!
