Another colt

Postby madelyn » Fri May 09, 2008 11:03 am

Staying on the good side of trends this year, Oro Caliente foaled a nice healthy colt this morning at 7:30 am (after 366 days). Yet ANOTHER bay with one little white sock (we've got three like that). So far we have six (2 fillies and 4 colts) touch wood. Four more due in the next month.

Anyone else having mares run kind of late this year? I had one run 370, another went 357, etc. I wonder if all the snow in March pushed them back?

Congrats Madelyn ; I hear everybody running late including our girls who gratefully now both have foals on the ground.
Bring 'em back tired ; but bring 'em back sound !

Congratulations again. Ours must be related, I have 2 bays with one little white hind sock!
I have found all of mine have been early, and we have had a long cold winter as well. Weird :?: I am just waiting on one more.
