Here come the Kids!!! 3 down 3 to go...

I am expecting 6 foals this year of which 3 are Thoroughbreds.

Our colourful kids are starting to arrive and we could not be more thrilled with them. Each year we work hard all winter, like the rest of you, for this time of the year when all the new babies arrive.

So far we have two. No names yet so I welcome suggestions...

The first is a HUGE palomino Thoroughbred colt by El Dorado out of Just Like My Mom. He is MR Personality! Comes high tailing it over to the stall door when he hears it opening to see who is coming to play. Very independant and keeps him mom on her hooves;) Here is a link to his page with more photos El Dorado Palomino Colt

And the second is quite special to me. He is out of my mare Adorable who has had no luck the last two years with her foals. In 08 her and her filly were shipped to the hospital shortly after birth. The filly was sick from the start and despite all the care and medical attention she did not make it. The year before Adorable slipped during pregnancy. So I have really been anticipating this little guy. He is a decent size but not huge like the first colt. He is a white and chestnut Thoroughbred colt by Sato.
Here he is at only a few hours old. So sweet, young and innocent. Sato x Adorable 2009 white and chestnut colt

The next foal is due any day now and it will be out of my Thoroughbred mare *Maika My Dinner*

Tammysinnett; if she ever goes missing I will be looking at your place first ;) She is a gorgeous mare and has movement to match!!! That BargainBlueblood :) Maybe she is nice enough to be a breyer model :P

She had her foal by Arts Aero two nights ago now. It is a perfectly marked pinto colt. Marked just like his sire!!! He is 3/4 Thoroughbred! Now I need a name for this guy too. Here he is...

We are calling the black and white pinto *Formal Attire* and Tie for short.

The white colt with the red ears we are calling *Headliner*

We have had two more palomino foals born whom are both WB's. We are expecting our last TB foal any day now, then we are done for the year!!!

And we have all but one mare already bred back. So looks like a quick season for us. YAY!!! Now we can concentrate on showing.

thankyou

My thankyou for the condolences. My father was a great showman and judge in his day. He was recognized in the Kansas City Royale if anyone would be familiar.
sorry to take your thread....but I do have an offer is it Maika My Dinner that you have left to breed back?? Summit says he would Maika LOve....with no complaints from me or him ,the offer is there pm me....all I ask is you give me first bids on her foal from him!! She is beautiful and I am in love with her. If not this year maybe in the future....Summit has been said to have oustanding conformation and as far as we can tell all of his babies have been noted as lookers. At least my dad taught me that right LOL...
