First foal... Tiznow x Officer Cherrie

Postby BlazingColours » Sat Feb 20, 2010 7:28 am

So our first foal of the year has started it off with a BANG!

Officer Cherrie and Tiznow had a handsome bay colt with FOUR white socks with a star and strip. He is just perfect. We purchased this mare as a 2 year old in training. She went onto be a Multiple Stakes Winner. She won the $250,000 Mazarine Breeders Cup (G3) and the $130,000 Ontario Debutante Stakes, both at Woodbine, as a 2-year old. Cherrie was nominated for a Sovereign Award, Canadian racing's highest honor, as Champion 2-Year Old Filly, finishing a close second to Dancing Allstar. (Cherrie actually beat Dancing Allstar in the Ontario Debutante!) She retired with lifetime earnings of $259,555. The decision was made to breed her to Tiznow and 11 months later here is the result of a wonderful long journey with this mare...
And now the 3rd chapter begins with her for us... Motherhood.

More picts of the little colt to come as he unfolds. Welcome little Tizzy...

What a great Mom - she is attentive and very much in love with her foal. ;) Congrats again on a very nice foal!
