We had our 4th colt of the year last night, a big handsome chestnut by Sky Mesa o/o History (Coronado's Quest.)

More pictures tomorrow when he gets to go outside. :)

Wow, Laurie - 4 colts from how many altogether? Congratulations!!

He sure is a cutie pie, and I love the look on History's face - such a tender "Mommy moment." :)

Jessi, so far we have 4 foals, 4 colts. Amazing (and great, LOL). We've never had so many before.

clh, I totally agree. At this rate, the last one should be a colt too.

I went two for two with colts as well. Let's hope we all meet up the first Saturday in May in three years! Congrats!

The year of the colt sounds good to me--and it's certainly been one for us. :)

I think he has a bit of a Coronado's Quest look too. I hope he has some of CQ's talent. :D

If I remember right, wasn't CQ a little hot-blooded or downright nutty in the paddock/post parade...or am I thinking of somebody else?

Hope this boy has a ton of talent and an all business personality!
Good Luck!

Yes, CQ definitely had his temperament issues. But mares sired by him have already done pretty well, producing such horses as G1 winners Kodiak Kowboy and Mahi Bhavin.
