Postby BlazingColours » Thu Feb 17, 2011 10:03 am

Officer Cherrie x Bernardini deserve their own thread so here we go...

Foaled just after 2am Feb 17. A lovely BIG filly. I am calling her Bertie for now. Cherrie is doing very well and so is Bertie!

We can also be followed on Facebook here... http://www.facebook.com/pages/Blazing-C ... 7061189488 and you can also see them LIVE on marestare here http://www.marestare.com/fcam.php?alias ... oloursfarm

I will be posting more pictures when they get outside to stretch their legs...

The pair will be heading to Kentucky in the coming weeks because Cherrie will be bred to Tapit this year.

Ah crud... you are right. I get them mixed up a bit cause they sound close and one is the sire of the other. LOL. It is Tapit...the son.

Not 100% yet. Likely going to sell as a yearling at auction. BUT depending on how things are next year it would be really nice if we could keep her, race her and then include her into our broodmare band in the future.

hi BC

Beautiful mare and foal. Congratulations.

I was following a mare from the female fam of Officer Cherrie who I thought might have potential. Did you race the mare or pick her up elsewhere? Any thoughts about her, the female family, etc.?

thx
