It's a girl...and she's all legs..
Born Feb 26. It was my first scary birth as she was well over a week overdue and a breech birth. Had to move into the barn and get her on her feet and balance her while she nursed for the first 5 days...but she's getting srtonger every day.

Ahhh she's very pretty What did you do when you realized it was a breech presentation? I'm curious how long the delivery took. Very glad (obviously) that you didn't have to resort to surgery and that your mare and foal are doing well. Congratulations!
Sadly my Silent Name had to be euthanized last fall

I missed the birth sadly..after 3 nights of foal watch my truck couldnt handle the cold and wouldnt start on me. So some students at the barn where I had momma for the foaling stood watch. They got the vet and they had to pull baby out. Baby was about an hour old by the time I got there
.....and not that I'd ever want a breech birth, but it would have been very educational to see the whole process...sorry about your foal Mood Swings
