She had a fly hypersensitivity this summer and rubbed alot of it off! :-(

We gave her a cortizone shot mid summer and just waiting for it to grow back.

This may seem like a pain in the ass thing to say but, I must warn you about just looping the chain double. An old breeder I worked for once yelled at me for doing that and said to twist the chain on itself before clipping so the horse could not get a foot through it. I thought "yea ok" then forgot one day(didn't make it a habit) and sure enough had a horse go to rub his nose during a bath and get his foot through! Had a knot on his tendon after I managed to unclip him but thankfully did not bow.

Thank you Zinn. That is exactly what we are doing, especially since unsoundness runs on the dam's side of the family. Hopefully she'll take after Stormin Fever when it comes to that though.
