Sligo Bay colt

Postby Mood Swings » Sat May 04, 2013 9:45 am

This poor little guy had a rough start as his dam had placentitis. He was pretty sick but things are looking really good for him now.

He's out of Stormin Wife, her first foal for me is making his racing debut today, fingers crossed!!

Another great picture!

We have four this year: colts by Arch, Include, and Gio Ponti and a filly by Lemon Drop Kid. Thanks for asking. :)

Super pictures!!! With that energy level, he doesn't look like he's suffered any lasting effects from mom's troubles. What a handsome guy!

Thanks again all :)
Congrats on your foals LB, I like your sires! How's your Gio Ponti? Are you sending anything back to him? I looked at sending a mare to him this year but unfortunately I didn't think she was a good fit. He's special.

I agree, Mood Swings, Gio Ponti is special. Ours looks quite good. There are three on the farm where my mares live and all three look different, but each one has plenty to like about it. I really hope he makes it as a sire. I love what he brings to the table.

What a lovely face that colt has! Those are terrific pictures too! Sure miss seeing those kind of antics in my paddocks so seeing your pictures make my day!
