Hip No. 463, Savage Battle, a son of War Front consigned by Old South Farm LLC, Agent, was purchased by Klaravich Stable, Inc. for $320,000. The bay colt, out of graded stakes placed stakes winner All for Thee, by Elusive Quality, breezed an Under Tack eighth in :10 flat last Wednesday.
What was wrong with this colt?
Was it missing a leg?
Any info?

Re: Ocala Breeders' Sales Company 2016 Spring Sale
With more supply than demand, most buyers will gravitate towards those who have clean vet reports. He may have also been smaller or just immature and it looked like the rider was really riding him and shaking the stick at him. It's not a sale for a horse who needs time to grow up (for the most part). Read the TDN, DRF, BH recaps and the one thing in common in every horse who sold well was not "we'll give them time off before putting them in training".
That's still not a bad amount of money for a first foal from a G3 winning mare.
