I read this in the Racing Post, RR was one of my raceheroines.
Great family specially the fillies!
FOUR-TIME Group 1 winner Russian Rhythm gave birth to her first foal, a chestnut filly by Pivotal, at David and Patricia Thompson’s Cheveley Park Stud in Newmarket on Thursday.
The stud’s managing director Chris Richardson described the foal, who weighed in at 55kg, as “a very exciting mix of both sire and dam – a lovely filly of quality with a white star like her mum.”
Russian Rhythm (Kingmambo – Balistroika, by Nijinsky), who won the 1,000 Guineas, Coronation Stakes, Nassau Stakes and Lockinge Stakes, will return to Pivotal.
