Leasing broodmares?
Could someone please let me know how I would find owners who would lease out mares. I've been having problems in my search. Maybe it's too uncommon a practise?
Most of the ones I've seen have been online advertisements, either on sale web sites or on a farm's personal web site. We do some of that, and we mostly advertise on our own web site and in local Thoroughbred publications. What general area are you looking in? Maybe someone here can help you find some in your area.

My experience is that most of the equine classifieds that are search-able, have a selection you can make, either for sale, for stud, or for lease. You would simply select "for lease". There are tons of sites, Equine.com, Equinehits.com, Dreamhorse.com, Equinenow.com are just a few with this capability.

Thank you for the website referrals. I've been on them before and will check them out again. Are there any racing sales sites that you know of?

try posting on the 'Horses Wanted' forum at www.thoroughbredniagara.com. We have a good number of breeders that visit the site.
