Just curious, who would you be looking at as a stud? Her full sib seemed to go okay w/returns of bold ruler... never looked at Star Kingdom

Here's produce record for her full sib that did well (another full sib shows had 1 foal/1 winner and no other info)

Change the Set (1988 f. by Gold Stage). 12 wins, 2 to 6, $78,818. Died 2004.
. (SPR=84) Dam of 6 foals, 3 to race, 3 winners--
. Faah Emiss (1998 c. by Is It True). 4 wins at 2 and 3, $149,777, 2nd
. . Dancing Count S. [L] (2001 LRL, $11,070), Primer S. (2000 LRL, $8,000),
. . Prince George Park S. (2000 LRL, $8,000). (SPR=83)
. Saratoga Set (1999 f. by Saratoga Six). 4 wins at 2 and 3, $70,592, 2nd
. . Tomboy S.-R (2002 RD, $10,000), Royal North S.-R (2002 BEU, $7,200).
. . (SPR=58)
. Golden Blend (1996 c. by Launch a Leader). 2 wins at 4, $26,549. (SPR=75)
. Hotel Holly (1997 f. by Bates Motel). Unraced.
. Unnamed (2004 c. by Sea of Secrets). (Live Foal Reported)
. Unnamed (2001 c. by Evansville Slew). (Live Foal Reported)

Here is HER produce record. The Make Your Mark is in training and I have no information about the other two. The 2006 is believed to have been 14 days early and was still born, possibly due to a longer term stressful situation.

PRODUCE RECORD for Carrie's Girl:
2000 Miss Morgan Lee, f. by Gracious Ghost. Unraced.
2001 no report received.
2002 Unnamed, c. by Pride of Burkaan. (Live Foal Reported)
2003 no report received.
2004 no report received.
2005 Casey's Girl, f. by Make Your Mark.
2006 Broodmare aborted (bred to Holy Tara).

If I could afford him I would love to send a Star Kingdom line mare to Pins (Snippets x No Finer)
Second choice would be Strategic Image (Strategic x Golden Snippets) again to pick up on the Star Kingdom

And then would look at Captain Rio purely because we have a very nice yearling colt by him (well almost a yearling lol)

Believe it or not there are very few Star Kingdom lined studs in NZ. Sad really.

Okay, so how about my mare, Peaceful Treaty? Why is Star Kingdom so great? I wonder what stands up here that carries it well for her?

lol Star Kingdom for me is personal preferance ;)

He was a big influence for speed down here but there seem to be very few stallions around (in NZ anyway) that have him in their pedigree.

Champion Australian Sire 5 times.
Champion Australian Sire of 2YO's seven times
Also the sire of Champion Sires.

I guess the grass is always greener......

I'd almost kill for a well bred, well raced Australian mare, just because of the medication regs there....

Kami.. ditto for Argentina.. no meds there either. Which begs the question: Often we have nice SW mares from SA, or their offspring, go through auction here and bring nothing. Why?? They raced drug free.

Well I found Star Kingdom in some stallions here, but only through through Nodouble (Sky Classic, etc.). Peaceful Treaty carries it through her damsire, Shecky Greene. Which would be doubling Noholme, not Star Kingdom.. oh well a puzzle for another day I guess. It's moot now since she is in foal to Rocking Trick, whom I bought her for.
