SLEW OF MEMORIES/ $500

Postby Waternymph » Fri Apr 01, 2005 3:41 am

Canter/Pennsylvania I believe that he is worth it. Probably he was pushed too early and too hard to race :x and $500 is a very low price for him. I hope that he will get a nice new owner and a new chance in life :)

Waternymph,
I was able to aquire slew of memories... He is going to be a nice edition to our farm. He's going to have about 50 acres and his own barn to play with.
If I only knew then... What I know now....

Glad to see he got a good home!

I saw him on the Canter PA site and thought he was wonderful, but I just bought another horse that I don't even have room for in my barn and have to board and I don't need stallion. But I am so-o-o happy to see that he will have a home and enjoy life. Congrats! to you both.

hey all
something has been wrong with my account here, so hubby posted for me but Slew of Memories is leaving today or tomorrow to head to our farm in TN!! Cant wait!! most likely we will stand him for sport horse, QH, etc. and with some rest and TLC maybe the show ring and possibly some of my own racing mares to see if theres any potential there for racing babies. whats the general feeling towards this guys pedigree potential?

Hi Brooke,
Please send us some pictures when you can, he looks amazing individual. I love his pedigree with Shenanigans, Buckpasser (La Troienne), Crimson Satan..His first dam had 38 starts and won over $100,000..He has great potential. I don't know how and where did he race, on dirt or on turf and wich distances, this you must look after very careful ( breeding him for racing). Often I see big mistakes by traners pushing a horse running in races(distance, dirt) where they have no future.
Good luck!!! :)

hey waternymph

he didnt start till he was three due to having pins in his knee, but he did go on to get 18 starts and won right at 35,000 going 8.5 f and under on the dirt. winning at 6f and 8.5 f he raced at pimlico, delmar, and pen, and once at aquaduct. allowance and claiming company. i was pretty impressed though that he sold for 37k at keenland as a yearling! cant wait to see him!

Oh Yes..........another human falls prey to those darn PA Canter Cuties. God, I would take everyone of them if I could. You got yourself a really nice boy there..........best of luck to you.

My name is Crystal and I am a CANTER Collector. I have purchased 2 for myself from CANTER. I have helped others fall victim to the brainwashing of a CANTER horse, and got them away from the darkside of purchasing expensive warmbloods.

I blame it on the early childhood development of collecting Breyers!
