Mares by Cherokee Run, Distinctive Pro, Jules: $1,500 each

Hey folks! Tis the season when mares come off the track and need new careers. I have several located in Maryland who need to move ASAP. Let their owner's impatience be your opportunity, as these mares are PRICED TO MOVE. All of the mares listed below are $1,500 or best offer, and need to move this week. Contact me right away if interested.

1) Keen Hope 1999 mare (Distinctive Pro x Nit Pic, Nasty And Bold) A winner of 4 races and more than $100,000 in her career! This mare won a maiden and allowance race on the NYRA circuit. She is a classy mare, and a half-sister to Intransigence ($255,310), Red Strawberry ($89,856) and Castigating ($45,587) plus two other winners. Dam Nit Pic earned $114,160, and third dam Silver Dollar was a stakes winner. Distinctive Pro is the broodmare sire of 18 stakes winners, and the sire of 39 stakes winners. You will not find this kind of racing class in a young mare for $1500. Keen Hope does have a tendon injury; she will need a little TLC to get to 100%, but she is getting around the pasture OK according to her owner. This is one mare worth taking a chance on!

2) Crystalen Tiffany 1999 Mare (Cherokee Run x Need I Say More, Green Dancer) Through the end of 2003, this mare had a record of (24) 3-5-2 $57,359. Her full sister, Princess Lanique (a 2000 model) had a record of (17) 2-6-3 $122,000, and her half-brother Bidders Out had earnings of $45,641. I am unsure if any of the three have run in 2004 or collected any more earnings, but they are the first three foals out of their winning Green Dancer mare, so clearly she can throw useful runners, and if Crystalen Tiffany can do the same, she's going to make the $1,500 asking price look like a world-class steal. Further, Crystalen's 2-year-old half-brother Listen To Us (by Two Punch) ran 3rd for the Ben Perkins barn at Monmouth on 8/18/04, earning $5060, so he may be the next winner for this family, if he continues well. Check out the dam's catalog page from late 2003 at http://www.obssales.com/octcatalog/1067.PDF

3) Exotic Crystal 2001 Mare (Jules x Bright Halo, Jolie's Halo) A winner last year at 2, and placed this year at 3, for earnings of $12,820. She's the first foal out of a young (1996) winning Jolie's Halo mare, who has 02, 03 and 04 foals by Skip Away, Stormy Atlantic and Thunderello, so there's MAJOR room for improvement under the first dam. 2nd dam, Bright Penny, is a stakes winner of over $100,000, while third dam, B's Overdraft, produced three major stakes winners including Grade 1 winner For Once'n My Life. Check out the pedigree power of this mare's family by checking out her yearling half-brother's Keeneland September catalog page at: http://www.keeneland.com/sales/Sep04/pdfs/3994.pdf

Remember these mares need to move YESTERDAY. Call me ASAP if you have questions or want to make an offer!
