Countontherun - 9 yo gelding $750 Mnr

Postby Jessi P » Wed Dec 13, 2006 4:27 pm

Countontherun 97 15.2 ½” liver chestnut gelding by Count the Time out of Tri Mary Kate by Tri Jet

Count has an amazing temperament and is a calm but curious kind of guy. He is sensible and smart and thinks situations through.

Count does not crib, weave, or stall walk. He is suitable for a variety of disciplines, including pony club, lower levels of dressage, eventing, jumping, and trail riding.

Trot and walk video available. This is a seriously cool horse - don’t let the bargain price fool you – he is going to be a seriously nice project horse for someone.

If I had more time I would have him at home and going under saddle and over small fences and listed at $2500, not $750. Count is priced to sell quickly.

Hey Griff!

Yes, we have started filling some W Va bred races - mostly 2 yo maidens. I am kicking myself for not having a W Va bred cooking for next year...

The first 2-3 years of any start up is the easiest time to make $$ - the purses are big and the competition is less than stellar.

How are your W Va breds doing?

agee.....no, she said if she had time to start him over fences and get him in training he'd be listed for 2500. His price was $750.

I agree with Jessi's line of thinking! He is a good-looking gelding—he'll look handsome under saddle. I hope he finds a great new home! :D
