Lovely homebred grey reg TB mare, 17 hands

Postby sb » Sun Mar 11, 2007 4:43 pm

This six year old paternal granddaughter of FERDINAND is for sale for the first time since I sold her as a coming 3 year old to a friend of mine who died a year later, so daughter took in her Mom's horses for sentimental reasons mainly, but now she has decided she can only keep one of the two, and the other one was her mother's showjumper, she's going to keep.
Owner says she's a lovely mover and has been started under saddle, but then was mostly turned out in pasture due to circumstnaces. Unraced. I still own her 16.3 hand dam Harritte K, and she just presented me with another whopper with four high, even stockings, but this one is a x-bred.

TAZETTE [2001] is presently located about 1.5 hours from Shreveport in Avery, Tx. No pictures available at that time, but take a look at her pedigree, if that matters any.

Granddaughter of both FERDIAND and SECRETARIAT [dam] and NIJINSKY, COUNT FLEET, DETERMINE, JET PILOT, all Ky Derby and triple Crown winners, but dam line is devoid of black type, :-(. Note: I did not breed her to be a race horse, but wanted an athlete. I owned her sire at the time which I sadly lost to a misdiagnosed scrotal hernia. He was some sweet stallion, but Ferdinand had the reputation of being sweet as well. Her dam is an incredibly intelligent TB with a superior intelligence..
