Stakes winning mare for sale

Postby Pete » Fri May 11, 2007 8:21 pm

Hi Folks,

This is a rare opportunity to aquire a young stakes winning broodmare at a very affordable price.

GLORY BE GOOD, (f. 2000) by Polish Pro - My Baroness by Track Barron. 6 wins, $153,160 to 2004. Isadorable S –R, Amelia Peabody S –R, Norman Hall S –R, Mystery Jet S –R, Great Mystery S –R, 2nd Elenora Sears S –R, Isadorable S -R, 3rd African Prince S –R.

Career record: 25-6-8-4 $153,160. A tough and game mare. I haven't seen her but she's described as 16.2hh+, big frame, well fleshed and correct. She's in Massachussets with her suckling filly by Regal Classic. She's not been bred in 2007 but she is ready to go to the shed. She is a half to stakes-placed Classlylilprincess from only 4 foals of racing age including a 2yo full sister.

Glory Be Good was just accepted to Afleet Alex today (5-11-07), but isn't obligated to go to him. It gives you an idea of her quality. If you're interested please call or email (please don't PM) at the address below.

Regards,

Pete

Hi Crystal,

I don't know who trained her. My client was the owner.

She represents the best of her sire and that appeals to stallion managers because it broadens the base of sires that they can use. Without a Glory be Good, Polish Pro isn't normally going to be the sire of a mare accepted to a better stallion.

Pete

Hi Matt,

Very nice mare and very, very reasonable.

How're your horses running and how've you been?

Regards,

Pete

Had a solid 2006 with 4 different runners. All were claims and then subsequently claimed away, but I had wins at GP-MTH-Med. Currently all I have is a 2 yr. old filly I bought at the FT Timonium sale last fall. She's in Ocala getting herself ready. She's a Pa. -bred, so she will be trying to get involved with the Pa. program. With MTH opened again, I'm scouring the DRF looking for claims!
And DOWN the stretch they come!

Hi Matt,

For better or worse you tend to see a lot of new faces in the claiming game. New challenges every time.

Good hunting!
