I am looking for some really nice mares to breed this spring. Must be pasture sound and have a race record. Thank so much. Size is not a factor.

I am in British Columbia. I would prefer mares from the east coast as our gene pool is getting rather limited to a few major players as stallions. I would lease them have them bred to quality stallions in the east and then bring them here to foal. Hastings is a sprint track. So would like to breed middle distance horses. The smaller the better in my opinion. The horses under 16HH seem to have a better shot at things..

Just wanted to post a HUGE thank you to all who have responded to my post!!! I have gotten some amazing mares on lease for 2005. Still have space for a couple more. (tough little ones who had fairly long careers would be great) Wow on the pedigrees and again a huge thank you! :lol:
