Lit de Justice mare...family of Broad Brush

Postby BargainBlueblood » Sun Jan 02, 2005 9:26 pm

Jordyns Justice 2000 Gray Mare, 15.3 hands (Lit de Justice x Jessie Wyler, With Approval) Unplaced. According to trainer, she got rushed as a 3-year-old, had some shin troubles as a result and never reached her potential. She is, however, a half-sister to 2 nice winners: Here's Jessie ($67,411) and Sully's Silver ($42,433 - ran 5th in Aqueduct's 1st race on 1/2/05). Her just-turned 3-year-old half-sister Clearly Kathy (by Cryptoclearance) is placed on the NYRA circuit in 2004. Dam Jessie Wyler has an 03 by Editor's Note, an 04 by Banker's Gold and is in foal for 2005 on a cover to Volponi, so there is more room for this family to improve. In fact, Jessie Wyler sells as hip no. 1502 at Keeneland Janaury. See the link for her pedigree and her 2-year-old's pedigree at:

http://www.keeneland.com/sales/Jan05/pdfs/1502.pdf

and

http://www.keeneland.com/sales/Jan05/pdfs/1989.pdf

You'll see Jessie Wyler is a half-sis to stakes winner HIGHER STRATA ($335,084) and stakes placed Private High ($99,124). Jessie Wyler's stakes winning dam is HAY PATCHER, dam of major stakes winners/leading sires BROAD BRUSH and HAY HALO. Other major stakes winners from this immediate family include UP AN EIGHTH, MULL OF KINTYRE, CROSSATYOUROWNRISK and LOVE SAM.

This is a gorgeous gray filly. PHOTOS AVAILABLE. Located in West Virginia and priced at $1,250 or best offer.

Just a little side note:

Here's Jessie a 1/2 sister to this filly is a big georgeous mare and is infoal to Not A Corgi and doing very well. She is one of the best mannered mares that we have here.

Sully's Silver ran a hard fought race yesterday after being bumped quite hard.

Update:

Jessie Wyler sold for $6,000 at Keeneland January.

Her 2003 Editor's Note brought $7,000 at the same sale.

Make an offer...all reasonable offers considered. This is a BEAUTIFUL mare, and she has serious potential.
