Complete Dispersal

Postby Gerry » Wed Aug 27, 2008 10:37 am

All of the farms mares are for sale and need to be moved as soon as coggins and HC are ready.

I am putting together a list today and can email me to anyone who is seriously interested.

Prices start at $500 and up. All are located in the southern tier of NY, on the PA border.

Gerry, are you moving or something? I never thought you'd sell all you ladies?

Heading your way Crystal! Mom got a new position with the state and a 5hr commute would be crazy :-) so we are looking for a farm and decided to cut back to make transporting easier given I only have a 3horse trailer.

jessi-
I found this article because I remembered something to this effect, but Cefis died last year.

Thanks Doublete for the article. I hadn't realized he was dead, such a shame, he was a indeed very rugged fellow.

I am trying to locate a gray gelding named Wisdom Seeker - putting in a call to Mrs Alexander so she knows he might need a helping hand after all the dust settles.

One thing that hoarders/faux rescues/bad breeders like to do when people catch on to their shit is pack up the tent and steal away in the night to a new state where people do not know them.

This is such a sad turn of events. I am sorry that it had to come to this. At least now the surviving horses will get the help they need. Hopefully Gerry gets help as well as I know her to be a good person and can't see her doing this to these animals without there being a serious problem with her.

Gerry, you bought a mare I was interested in and would have bought if you hadn't several years ago from the North Hampton Fair. Do you still have Girl Gone Wild?

Having a complete dispersal due to "relocating", right before the s--t hits the fan...amazing.

many years ago i sent $1000. deposit to Gerry on a horse and when i got there he was in such a sorry state as were all the others anyway that i forfeithed my money and left,no point in throwing good money after bad.the mares in the fields were like ghosts too...i never said anything and re-imbursed my owner for the lost $1000....but now i never buy or give deposit on anything before being there in the yard with my trailer.

i can't open the link, what happened? from what i can gather, gerry left 'some' horses and they've now been taken over by local authorities? what will happen to them, i was interested in one of the older mares - ballet prospect.
