Dr. Furlow 2003 ~16H g $1750 MNR

Postby Jessi P » Tue Aug 04, 2009 2:48 pm

Dr. Furlow is a 2003 son of Runaway Groom who is looking for a second career away from the racetrack. Currently residing on a farm about 30 mins from Mountaineer Park (zip 26050) this gray grandson of Blushing Groom has an impressive pedigree as a sport horse prospect - including Secretariat, To Market, and My Babu, noted sport horse sires. Standing right around 16 hands this stout 6 yo gelding does not crib, weave, or stall walk. Eager to learn, Doc is a smart horse with an inquisitive nature, and is easy to get along with.

Call trainer Jackie Erler's cell at (740) 424-3147 for more information on Dr Furlow.

NOTE: These pics were taken March 12, 2009; Doc is still wearing his winter coat for these photos.

What a cute guy! He looks more like an Irish Sport Horse than a Thoroughbred. :)

Isn't he a looker Laurie? :) He does indeed look like an ISH - good bone and a lot of substance to him.

What a tidy little horse. Although not necessarily little, he is so nicely put together I just thought "mm, 'tidy'". I agree, ISH build-ishness.
Some people are like slinkies. Not really good for anything, but they bring a smile to your face when pushed down the stairs.

He was available a few weeks ago when someone asked me to see if he was still around. That person didn't follow through, unfortunately. His trainer, Jackie Erler is a nice lady - give her a call. Her cell is (740) 424-3147. :)
