I have 2 3YO's on at Philadelphia Park and one at Fair Hill. Both are close to racing, they were late May and a June 1 foal. They have been in training since April of 2004.
One is "Bassanio" a chestnut by Power by Far o/o Proud Portia (Proud Truth). I raced Proud Portia and went through allowance conditions in open races and won $111,000. Power by Far won $544,000 and beat Artax.
"Praying Mantis" is an Alyten o/o a Robyn Dancer mare (Cadence Caller). It is a nice Mr. P/ND cross.
These horse are both registered PA Breds and PA-Sired horses. This will make you able to take advantage of PA's slot purses and bonuses.
I'm getting out on my racing age horses now to concentrate on my breeding. I don't know what kind of horses they can be and maybe I'm making a mistake, but I want to concentrate on my mares and foals right now and the training expenses are making a dent that I'd rather put on the farm. The average trainer day rate at Philly Park is $45 now.
3YO dispersal, nice horses in training
