H.M.S. Hester is a gorgeous 5 yo bay mare measuring 16.0h by Mizzen Mast out of an End Sweep mare. She is for sale as a race, riding or broodmare prospect. Darren and I have owned Hester since January 2010 - she has no bad habits, does not crib weave or stall walk. She is a very attractive mare, nice and stout, with big feet for a TB. She has clean legs but for an old splint on the LF. Anyone can gallop her - she goes in a snaffle or ring bit, what ever is handiest. Bathes, trailers, loads, clips. My little kids can hand feed her grain and hay safely. Excellent hunt/jump or event prospect. Quality mare with an excellent brain and wonderful temperament. Hester has run 17 times with 4 wins and 1 second, earnings of $36,132. We are selling Hester because she is a turf/poly specialist and turf is almost over here at Mnr. This is one of my personal horses and I cannot say enough good things about her.
Hester has a 2 yo half brother named AFFLUENCE (by Zavata). He has run 3 times to date, winning his first start MSW at Delaware, then winning the $50k Par Four stake at Del, then running a super 3rd in the $150k Victoria Stakes at Woodbine.
The 4 yo out of the first dam GO HON GO has just started her racing career and has 1 third from 3 starts.
