Five Star Day filly- broodmare prospect

Four year old filly by Five Star Day out of a Clever Trick mare, Summer Sweetie. Good broodmare prospect. She won two starts, one at Churchill and one at Delaware, has a loose chip, and damage to her knee cartilage.
The vet says there is a chance that if she is layed up till next year she could possibly run again, but she is currently walking fine and could also be a riding horse prospect. He advised no surgery and turning her out till spring or breeding her. I cannot afford another broodmare, since I have others that need to go also. She is in Ohio at the racetrack currently.
