Wheelaway mare for sale

Postby winds » Sun Nov 14, 2010 11:37 am

It's All Good is by Wheelaway out of Black Bacardi carrying her third foal by Alex's Pal. Throws nice looking babies, a good breed to race mare. We are asking $5,000 for her.

Her first foal by Request For Parole named Beverly's Spirit is being broken and going to be in race training in Ocala. She's scheduled to run at Parx Racing.

PM for more info

Wasn't Beverly's Spirit the filly you were looking to syndicate?

Yes, but we couldn't find enough interest so we have decided to sell both mom ( in foal ) and yearling. We can't afford to do what is best for them, and since we don't owe anything on them we want to sell them and get out of the breeding/selling/racing industry completely. We live on a limited income and need to cut our losses.

I am sorry to hear that, I was looking forward to working with her. Best of luck getting her sold.

Laurie, If you have an owner looking for a good prospect, she's it. She's very athletic, very intelligent, personable , good conformation. She's just not a big filly, she's average size. But she's going to be ok. We only want 3k for her. She won't disappoint.

It's All Good is from the good family that has produced Invisible Ink ( 2nd in the KY Derby ) and more recently the good filly Dyna's Lassie. She's in foal to the good stallion Alex's Pal who is a 1/2 brother to Sucessful Appeal. All she's listed for is 5k. A very good breeder, easy to foal and from a good family of runners. If interested she's listed on Thoroughlybred.com or pm me.

Sorry but I definitely don't have any clients looking for prospects. Times are tough for everyone. I wish you the best of luck finding her a great racing home.

Here's a video of her daughter Beverly's Spirit being broken in Ocala. Notice how athletic she is and also how relaxed she is during this process.

I'd be sure to mention the heavy turf and hurdle influence in this mare's distaff side. The black type is almost exclusively turf down that line. Good luck!

Thank you Springboro. I will. I noticed it too that's why we got her. Only problem was she was raced exclusively on dirt. They also sprinted her when I think she wanted to go long. She broke her maiden going 7 furlongs and that was the farthest they ever ran her. I think it's amazing she hit the board in her other races considering she was not running on her preferred surface or distance. Just shows the heart she had and is giving to her foals.

Jessi I wish I could take credit for this but I can't. We gave her to Charles Simon to break/train and own. It is his girls, Ashley and Christie that are doing this. They are doing a wonderful job with her aren't they. They are just keeping us posted as to her progress, which is wonderful of them.

We couldn't afford to break/train her for racing, that is why we are trying to sell her mom. We are going to get out of the business. With the economy the way it is, no one is paying any kind of price for breed to race horses. Now watch us sell her and Beverly's Spirit go on to do wonderful things in the racing world. : ) Which would make us extremely happy.
