I saw/met this mare at the Indiana sale in Cloverdale, Indiana in 2008 - she is absolutely LOVELY, with just wonderful manners. I was working for a consignor and she was stabled right across the aisle from our horses.

I think she is a much nicer mare than $2000 will usually buy..

I agree, this looks like a nice mare and that price is certainly very reasonable. The equine economy is beating us up so badly that even a nice mare at a good price is a tough sell. I hope she finds a great home.

madelyn - Thanks for the compliments.. although I'm not sure it is the same horse. I don't think she went through a sale in 2008, I think that was the year I bought her or I may have even had her in 2007.

However she is very nice, well mannered, very easy breeder, just all around great broodmare. We are very attached to her and would really love to keep her but just cannot afford her any longer. A good home is a must. We do believe she is worth more than $2000, but it is hard to sell any horse in this market!

Aack - I got her confused with Rose Tattoo - probably because they are both by Langfuhr and at that time your were posting about Sweet Maria on the board..
