HI
I am looking for a broodmare that I could either lease or buy.
I have a full service equine facility with super care for all the critters.
As far as leasing goes this is what I have to offer:
Great care for your mare during and after her pregnancy. Upkeep on shots and farrier work. I would prefer to return her bred as payment. I have a really nice young stallion that I would like to try out on a TB mare, I do believe that will be the best cross. He is a registered dun and I am going to try to get him registered in a Sporthorse registry also. Excellent disposition, awesome gaits and a big boy with great bone, he will mature 17 HH. He will have a "to die" for mane and tail. He is 16HH and will be 2 this May. He comes from a color producing line, his dad and grandfather are dun and his mother is black. I can email pics of him to anyone who may be interested, I am thinking the cross will be a wonderful sporthorse. Mare should be 15.2 or taller, no grays will consider chestnut depending on the color background.
Buy:
Looking for something under a 1000.00. Does not have to be broke, but have good ground manners and approachable dispostion. no grays may consider chestnuts.
Middle-East tennessee, kentucky, northern Georgia, southern ohio, and southern Indiana area please.
Thanks for reading this, it doesn't hurt to ask!
Let's wheel and deal! Broodmare wanted..

As far as the color background on chestnut....Chestnut is dominant, so even if both the parents are dilute, it doesn't "hide". So a chestnut out of color is no more likely to produce color than a chestnut out of chestnut or bay. Just in case you would be swayed towards a chestnut mare with color in her background. It has no bearing on future color production.
