Babe is being retired because she refuses to break from the starting gate. Owner says she is sound, and she does not crib weave or stall walk. Super nice looking mare. Last race was May of 2011 – they have been working with her starting gate issues for the past month but she simply refuses to break from the starting gate. Its time for her to move on to a new career. Very sweet girl, stood quietly tied in the stall while I brushed her up for her pictures. Lots of commotion going on around us while taking pics (horses being loaded & unloaded from trailers), she was alert but not silly. Ships and loads well, stands for vet and blacksmith, freshly clipped. Excellent sport horse pedigree with Fappiano, Damascus, His Majesty, etc.
