Blingy, chromed out TB mares wanted

Postby TrueColours » Sat Oct 06, 2012 7:52 am

Looking for some chromed out TB mares for a few clients

One client really has his heart set on bright chestnut mares - lots of leg and face white, under 9 years of age, 15.1-16.2hh. In foal would be a bonus. Reasonable pedigrees - the foals will race eventually but it wont be at upper levels

Another client(s) want blingy TB mares - again with lots of white markings on the face and legs, they will be aimed to the show ring. Sound enough to pass a basic prepurchase and no vices would be required. Hopefully with some miles under saddle, a bonus would be if they are quiet enough to take a kid around a small set of jumps already. No real colour preference with these clients

7 years of age and under, 15.1-16.2hh, the prettier the better ... all of the clients prefer more substantially built TB mares

Budget is reasonable and realistic per horse. East coast would be preferable due to lower ship costs to get them here. I will probably be looking at about 15-20 in total to start and it may well expand from there.

Let me know what you have available - [email protected]

Thanks so much! :)

For the ones wanting flashy sport mares:

Bonarda....on CANTER PA. http://www.pedigreequery.com/bonarda6 DROP DEAD GORGEOUS, deep brown with three whites and an ankle sock and a falling star, out of a Regal Classic mare. Can really see the Nodouble in her. Edit: she is half to a stakes winner.

(I'd argue with you for her but she's just too tall for polo.)

Skipitgirl - no they dont. For several of the clients they require these mares for their students in a lesson / showing program so any breed would be considered. The mandate is that they have to be beautiful to look at, be sound and be kind/willing to work with and to ride

Can you email me the info on your mare please? :)

Thanks Kimberley! I'll have a look at all of them. I LOVE shopping for mares I'd love to own myself with someone else's money! :D

And IIRC Thewifeknowseverything won that race. Insert your own punch line here.

She would be the best of the lot by FAR for breeding race foals--both by breeding and by track performance. She also retired sound, is broke to ride, is jumping, and going by the pictures on that website she is a cuddle monster.

Her head looks a bit common to my eye, but it's nothing a blingy browband and figure-of-eight noseband can't fix.
