Broodmare wanted

I have been trying to find (with no luck) a decent, older mare (age 9 and above) at a reasonable price ($1,000 or below), that is currently open. If anyone knows of one which is located in the Midwest (I'm in Iowa and can't travel to far), I would greatly appreciate any and all input. I've looked at most of the thoroughbred web pages (such as starquine and others like that) with no luck. Thanks in advance!
