Hm I'm thinking since it's a Canter West Virginia listing that she might be in West Virginia - or could be up at Mountaineer or that area?

It would be great if someone on here grabs her—I wish I could! :D
They reshared her post on the 27th.

That was my thought - they bought her a a racing prospect. Probably whatever stopped the previous owner from running her came back. I hope she finds a good home. It's not a really good time for a BM prospect coming out after the winter sales - there were mares in foal for $1500-4000 as good as or better than this one and stud fee paid.

I think her last sale was a breeding stock sale. So someone bought her and tried to bring her back is my guess, too. True, she is untried as a broodmare, so there's the gamble, right? I do like that she has a stakes-placed full brother. Who knows how much of her (lack of) success was on her? The angles on her back feet hurt my eyes.

The November sale is labelled as a "breeding stock sale" but it's really a "horses of all ages" and you will see all sorts. Young fillies and mares may be listed as "Racing or Broodmare Prospect" in the catalog - this filly was not she was Broodmare Prospect - but racing prospects have to have x-rays and scope. You will also see geldings in there and they are not breeding stock :D

Really? :o Wow, I did not know that! The only sale I've ever been to was the NY yearling sale last summer, at Saratoga. I'll have to look at a catalog next time. :D
