Looking for some Breeding partners

Postby Joe » Mon Oct 25, 2004 8:48 pm

As many of you know me on this board, I have 2 nice mares, both residing in PA (Slots approved). I have Polish Socialite, who had a Twining filly, very nice last May 19th and she slipped on the 9-day and I gave her the year off, she needed it althought nothing wrong, just late. I also have Miss Tilghman, a Crafty Prospector winner of $110,000 who's first dam just went SPR with a stakes placed, Melissa's Melody. Polish Socialite's sister just went SPR in the spring with Wild Ride at Tampa, a SW.

Miss Tilghman was an $80,000 yearling purchase and won in NY, she is outstanding looking. Polish Socialite is full of La Troinne and Phipps breeding, she was bred by Shug McGaughey and Hermitage Farm.

Miss Tilghman is in foal and due to have a Salt Lake foal in February by George Smith breeding advice. I have both of these mares approved to Mutakddim this year (George Smith recommended), $10,000.

What I'm looking for is someone to share in the cost of stallions and the foals or breedings. These mares should go to decent stallions and presently I can only scrape up so much for the breeding, I'm a small breeder. I'm willing to work with deals on foal shares and sales shares to make this work. I think these are both nice mares and someone out there can enjoy some fun and maybe profit with me. I'm looking to foal in PA (Breeder's awards) but can share that as part of deal. Best deal around, sell the yearling, get income of all races in PA (Slots) and have no costs.
