actaully I don't think he ever has raced on an artifical surface. He was at Santa Anita pre cushion and the last time I remember him running was the florida derby.
I don't really see the turf pedigree, in excess has some turf pedigree but this really is I don't think a good sign. might still have problems. I think he is a Grade 1 calibur miler.
