Kentucky Oaks

I really like proud spell, espically if eight belles stays in and will draw alot of money, proud spell is going to go off close I think to 9/2, which i will take 8 days a week.

at 6 to 1 or higher I am willing to take a flyer on Country Star at a mile and an 8th as well. Being by Empire Maker, and I have no problem throwing the last race out. Her not racing on dirt doesn't bother me as much as some of the others because of her breeding

the more I think about it, I'm singling country star.. Frankel does not waste horses... if he didnt't hink she was on her best he wouldn't run her, and on her best, she is built for this race and is the most talented horse in the field IMHO

I will be hoping for Country Star, I won't make it to where I can watch the race so I won't be cheering for her but I really hope she wins as I have a broodmare from her immediate family. In the Ashland she ran like she wasn't quite ready. RA asked her to move on the turn and she started, but she seemed to flatten out in the stretch rather than starting to really move like she did in her previous races. To me it seemed like she just wasn't ready to go 9 panels after a 4 month layoff. JMO
