Kip Deville loves the track and has been training well, I have no idea what went wrong at Woodbine, but the Kip will show up at Santa Anita. Goldikova loves the distance but may find the ground too hard.

I'm boxing EX and TRI:

Goldikova
Shakis
Bold Chieftan
Whatsthescript (Gomez riding)

I'm counting on Kip Deville being a victim of pace. :)

lol, bill is trying to make some money :P

i can't see any of her races, but from what i read.... yeah. .a handicapper has to be veristile baby... this filly can really run. like.. REALLY run. the thing about it though, is that santa anita's turf is not like "real" turf. it's like like... Turt. it's green, but it's hard like dirt. Grass horses won't (usually) fair well, unlike if we were at belmont or churchill. plus she's shipping over and all that stuff.

you take her out this is a 2 horse race... Kip

py and whatsthescript. I don't know what happened to Kip last race, but it happened. whatsthescript has been racing lights out.

the ONLY way I would play this race ,is if whatsthescript riases in odds a tad. closer to 7ish to 1. at 7 to 1 i'll pull the trigger on him. not at 4 to 1. that's a bet that if I lost I can say was a good bet, whereas if I bet on kip and lose i'd be kicking myself because I "tried to get fancy, you saw what he did last race and you bet him anyway"

you know.. i take that back. i can't bet a horse on a 2 month layoff. just can't do it.

I could see whatsthescript winning, i could see the euro filly winning, i could see shakis winning. but i'm not willing to put money on either of them
