Gulfstream 1-07-10; 8th race

Postby hpkingjr » Wed Jan 06, 2010 5:42 pm

The colt we bred, Middle of the Nite, is in the 12 spot going a mile in the 8th. The race is really tough for an allowance race. A Breeders Cup starter, and stakes winner, Eskendereya, and stakes placed horse, Thank U Philippe, are the two favorites. MOTN has had a long layoff because of short fields and no race in NY and PA. He may be a little short. Ten of the starters are coming off their maiden wins. MOTN may be worth a look.
He should go off at around 10 to 1.

MOTN broke poorly, hooked the winner and just failed to hold second.
