I really like Fortune Pearl in this race, but Stopchargingmaria and Sloane Square also look good on paper. I will play the 9 to win and a tri box 4-8-9 and shoot for the moon. I think I will also play the Black-Eyed Susan/Preakness double with California Chrome and Social Inclusion.

Hi Guys,
They will be drawing entries and posts positions for the Preakness at 6PM this evening. Will post the field and the Past Performances as soon as they are in. Here's my picks for the Black-Eyed Susan Stakes. Looking for a price, but she drew a bad post....the inside has been pretty deep at Pimlico this season? Hopefully Mott can overcome that disadvantage. The double and pick 3 are for the Pimlico Special on Friday and the Dixie and Preakness on Saturday, not the Black-Eyed Susan, I will discuss the bet on the Preakness thread.

Hi All,
The rain ruined the card today at Pimlico...46 scratches in the 13 race card and all the races have been taken off the turf. You guys might want to look over the races again:>) TJ

I don't think I've seen this many scratches on a card in my life. What an ugly ugly rain.
I hope it stops for tomorrow or I'm rethinking California Chrome in the Preakness.

Hi Cree,
They say that the track will be fast come Preakness time.....but todays rain may cause them to take a few races off the turf again Saturday. Riders and trainers say that the track dries out quickly? Sherman said CC trained well over the off track this AM and doesn't think it will be an issue? This from Espinoza. TJ http://www.drf.com/news/california-chro ... -preakness

Had to go back and look at The Black-Eyed Susan after watching the races at Pimlico today. I'm throwing in a big price horse who should be close to the pace today...VERO AMORE. She carries the RF to Weekend Surprise via 1/2 brothers AP Indy and Summer Squall. Worth a flyer:>) TJ
