GR I Awesome Again Stakes

According to Baffert Bayern didn't like the Del Mar dirt surface and he expects a new and improved Bayern to show up in here. Bayern did get a bad post....but there is very little serious speed which could hamper this horse, who appreciates an uncontested lead on the front end, therefore the post should of no consequence. This is a win and you're in race for the BC Classic. PP's below. TJ

Yeesh. This is not a great field. Any form of the "old" Bayern should win this, but I cannot get past what he has (not) done this year. I hope if he doesn't win, they should stop already.

Interesting note about Smooth Roller's dam. She is an unraced Sam-Son Farm cull (sold in 2006). Other "famous" culls from them were the dams of Moreno and Speightster.
