The Clark Handicap

For me the race lost a bit of its appeal when Dortmund failed to enter. Not a good sign for his ranking in the 2016 handicap division? In any case it turned out to be a quality and competitive field assembled to run this Friday at CD. Below are entries and past performances. TJ

I don't know what to make of Race Day or Protonico. They confuse the heck out of me. The pace should be useful for Hoppertunity. I agree with you on him.

Effinex
Keen Ice
Race Day/Protonico?

Glad to see Effinex win it....Jimmy Jerkens is gonna pick up where his Daddy left off. What a race, a length and a half covered the first 6 horses. The big surprise was the 5,000 claim finishing 3rd at 88-1 and beating Keen Ice by a head, who beat American Pharoah...crazy?? TJ
