Here's the finish:
Gun Runner...held gamely for the win.
Forevamo...gaining on winner at the wire.
Mo Tom...checked sharply at the 3/16ths pole, finished fastest of all.
Candy My Boy...set the pace and tired.

Gun Runner (I like that name...and what a pedigree) looked like he was tiring in the last few strides.

Think they will throw Airoforce back on the grass?

Hi Cree,
Gun Runner was the Airoforce alternate who was proven on the dirt. Airoforce will most likely return to the grass, Casse just can't get a Derby contender, I was hoping this one might have been the one.....Casse deserves a shot.
Coming off that layoff, Gun Runner should move forward next out? The one who most impressed me though was Mo Tom, I doubt any of these will beat him again, unless he gets stopped like he did on Saturday. He was gobbling up the ground with that long stride and galloped in front of the field. TJ
